Job summary

Timonium Surgery Center is hiring a PRN Surgical Scrub Technologist to join our ambulatory surgery team. The scrub tech prepares supplies, maintains a sterile field, and supports surgeons across general, ENT, orthopedics and more.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED; completion of a Surgical Technician Program and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certification as required by state and/or center.
• Ambulatory surgical center experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and patient management.
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation.
• Ability to adapt to changing patient conditions quickly.
• Teamwork and strong communication with staff, patients, and physicians.

Responsibilities

• Scrub for surgical procedures and maintain a sterile field.
• Prepare supplies, instruments, and equipment for procedures.
• Support the surgical team and participate in quality improvement activities.
• Coordinate with physicians and staff to ensure patient safety.
