Job summary

United Surgical Partners International is seeking a PRN Surgical Scrub Tech for Citrus Heights Surgery Center. The role supports the surgical team, maintains sterile technique, and ensures supplies and equipment are ready for procedures.

Responsibilities include assisting the circulating nurse, sterile setup, specimen handling, and adhering to universal precautions. A minimum of one year of scrub tech experience is required, with exposure to multiple specialties.

Qualifications

• One year experience as a Scrub Tech in multiple specialties or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Able to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• General familiarity with medical terminology as it pertains to anatomy and surgical procedures for an operating room

Responsibilities

• Anticipates the needs of the surgical team.
• Establishes and maintains sterile field during surgical procedures in the operating room.
• Reports to Clinical Director/Administrator.
