Job summary

Lee Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist II at Cape Coral Hospital. You will function in a perioperative technologist role under the direction of the circulatingRegistered Nurse, prioritizing, organizing and implementing care for surgical patients across specialties.

The position requires 1 year of experience, High School diploma or equivalent, and BLS certification. CST is preferred. Shift is 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with PRN work in Cape Coral, FL.

Qualifications

• Must have at least one year of experience in perioperative care.
• High School graduate or equivalent and graduation from an accredited surgical technologist program or accredited nursing vocational school.

Requirements

Education: High School graduate or equivalent, and graduate of accredited program for surgical technologists or accredited vocational school of nursing.

Experience: Must have at least one (1) year of experience.

Certification: BLS (Basic Life Support) through the AHA (American Heart Association) required. CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) through the NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting) preferred.
