Lee Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist II for the Sanctuary in Fort Myers, FL. This PRN role involves assisting in perioperative procedures under the supervision of the circulating RN and handling call obligations as needed.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited surgical technologist program, plus at least 1 year of current experience. BLS is required; CST is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High School graduate or equivalent and graduate of accredited program for surgical technologists or accredited vocational school of nursing.
• Experience: Must have at least one (1) year of current experience.
• Certification: BLS required. CST preferred.

Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$35.30 - $35.30 / hour

Summary

The surgical technologist II functions in a perioperative surgical technologist role under the direction of the circulating Registered Nurse. Able to prioritize, organize and implement care of the surgical patient in a variety of specialties. Performs call obligations as assigned.

Requirements

Education: High School graduate or equivalent, and graduate of accredited program for surgical technologists or accredited vocational school of nursing.

Experience: Must have at least one (1) year of current experience

Certification: BLS (Basic Life Support) through the AHA (American Heart Association) required. CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) through the NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting) preferred.
