Job summary

Foundation Surgical Hospital is seeking a PRN Sterile Processing Technician to maintain and care for all surgical instruments and to prepare supplies for surgery cases. This role supports OR operations in a fast-paced outpatient environment and requires attention to detail and adherence to sterile technique.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, 1–2 years of sterile processing experience, and certification where possible.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Minimum 1-2 years of Sterile Processing experience.
• Completion of a Sterile Process Certification program is preferred.
• CBSPD or IACHSMM required.
• Experience with all types of sterilizers.
• Knowledge of operating room instrumentation and procedures.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions of the patient when needed.

Responsibilities

• The Sterile Processing Technician maintains and cares for all surgical instruments.
