Job summary

Reston Hospital Center is seeking a Speech Therapist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation team on a PRN basis. You will assess communication, cognitive and swallowing abilities, develop individualized plans, document progress, and educate patients and families on goals and home strategies.

You will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists to ensure coordinated care and smooth transitions, in a well-supported clinical environment focused on patient outcomes and time management.

Qualifications

• Current SLP license or credential as Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Ability to evaluate communication, cognitive and swallowing disorders.
• Experience with documentation and discharge summaries.

Responsibilities
