Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Virginia licensure to practice.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification and completion of the national examination.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• No experience required for entry level; preferred 1 year in adult dysfunction or pediatrics.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients for speech pathology according to department standards and referrals.
• Provide targeted treatment per individualized plan.
• Complete medical records as required by department policy.
• Demonstrate fiscal responsibility and productive use of time.
• Communicate effectively with the care team and families.
• Participate in student programs and ongoing learning.
• Support department operations and program development.
