Job summary

Casa Real Nursing Center is seeking a PRN Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to help patients communicate, swallow, and remediate disorders. You will design and implement rehab plans, work with patients to execute them, and collaborate with a team to ensure optimal patient care.

This role emphasizes teaching patients and caregivers to promote independence. The position is in-facility, reporting to the Director of Rehab; Genesis Healthcare partnership supports high-quality care and opportunities

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders or similarly-titled area that is consistent and acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
• Licensed, certified or credentialed, as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Help patients communicate, swallow, and remediate disorders or deficits.
• Design the plan and work with patients to execute rehab plans.
• Collaborate with peers and refer to ensure patient care.
• Educate patients and caregivers to promote independence and productivity.
• Report to Director of Rehab.
