Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a PRN role at Casa Real Nursing Center. You will evaluate and treat patients, develop individualized plans, and collaborate with rehab staff to restore communication and swallowing abilities.

You will educate patients and caregivers, promoting independence while contributing to a patient-centered care environment and growth opportunities within the team.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or a similarly titled area acceptable to ASHA.
• Licensed, certified or credentialed, as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide Speech Language Pathology services to patients in an in-facility setting.
• Design and execute individualized treatment plans to improve communication and swallowing abilities.
• Collaborate with the rehab team and refer to other care as needed to support patient goals.
• Educate patients and caregivers on skills to promote independence and productivity.
• Report to the Director of Rehab and participate in care planning.
