Concept Rehab & Engage Consulting in Bay City, MI is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist for a flexible PRN role in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting. You will assess and treat residents with communication and swallowing issues, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to improve quality of life.

Applicants should hold a Michigan license, a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, CCC-SLP preferred (CF candidates considered).

Qualifications

• Licensed SLP in Michigan is required.
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program is required.

• Experience in skilled nursing/rehabilitation or geriatric care is beneficial.
• Strong assessment, organization, and communication skills.

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – PRN

Location: Bay City, MI

Are you a Speech-Language Pathologist looking for a flexible PRN opportunity? Join our rehabilitation team in Bay City, Michigan, and help residents improve communication, swallowing function, and overall quality of life.

We are seeking a licensed SLP to provide individualized speech and swallowing services in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting. This position is ideal for a clinician who enjoys making a difference while maintaining a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Complete speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing evaluations as indicated.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on residents’ clinical needs and functional goals.
• Provide therapy to address communication difficulties, cognitive deficits, and dysphagia.
• Recommend appropriate swallowing strategies and diet modifications in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Monitor resident progress and adjust interventions based on response to treatment.
• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate with nursing staff, physicians, families, and other rehabilitation professionals.
• Support resident safety, participation, and independence through evidence-based treatment.

Qualifications

• Current, active Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist license.
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CF candidates considered if eligible under applicable requirements.
• Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or geriatric care is beneficial.
