Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation is seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. The SLP will evaluate and treat patients in a skilled nursing facility, following an individualized plan of care after evaluation.

Strong communication with patients, families, and the treatment team is essential as you administer assessments, conduct swallowing evaluations, and develop and monitor treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Licensed or eligible Speech-Language Pathologist in the United States.
• Experience providing patient care in skilled nursing facilities (SNF) preferred.
• Proficient in administering standardized speech/language assessments and swallowing evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients per individualized plan of care.
• Demonstrate knowledge to provide patient care in SNF settings.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the treatment team about patient status and progress.
• Develop treatment plans and monitor patient progress over time.

• Strong written, oral and interpersonal skills work well with others and to communicate effectively with patients, families, and other treatment team members when gathering and exchanging patient condition information.
• Experience with administering standardized speech/language assessments, conduct swallowing evaluations, developing treatment plans and monitoring patients' progress.
