Qualifications

• Valid or Pending State Speech Language Pathology License.

Our therapists are In-House Team Members, providing an opportunity to make a direct impact with our residents through therapy. Qualifications

• Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an Accredited Program
• Valid or Pending State Speech Language Pathology License

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, review, and screen patients'/residents' medical charts, conduct evaluations under physician order, and develop treatment plans based on patient needs
• Plan, direct, or conduct rehabilitative treatment programs to improve communication, swallowing, and cognitive problems; administer, score, and interpret specialized speech tests
• Instruct residents, families, and caregivers on monitoring speech and practicing new skills, including diet recommendations and modifications for safe swallowing
• Attend and lead interdisciplinary meetings to relay clinical findings and make recommendations; participate in family meetings and education
