What you will do in this role:
  1. Help patients recover and improve by providing therapy to enhance speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities.
  2. Communicate patient progress or issues to supervisors and team members; assist with scheduling and post charges daily.
  3. Document patient care in compliance with regulatory, licensing, payer, and accreditation standards.
  4. Instruct family members or nursing staff on follow-up programs.
  5. Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition.
  6. Follow the Company's Code of Business Conduct, compliance policies, professional standards, and applicable laws.
  7. Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program or meeting ASHA certification requirements.
  • Meet the education and experience criteria for ASHA's Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology.
  • At least six months of experience working with adult and geriatric populations as a speech therapist/pathologist.
  • Current, unrestricted Speech Language Pathologist license in the service state.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
