Qualifications

  • Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
  • Valid State Speech Language Pathology License needed.

About the Role:

CommuniCare Rehab, part of the CommuniCare Family of Companies, has a PRN opening for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) at Martinsburg Healthcare Center. Our therapists are In-House Team Members, making a direct impact through therapy. We operate 170 centers across IN, MD, MO, OH, PA, VA, WV.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors and/or Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid or pending State Speech Language Pathology License

Responsibilities:

  1. Evaluate, review, and screen patients/residents; develop treatment plans
  2. Conduct rehabilitative treatments; administer and interpret speech tests
  3. Instruct residents, families, and caregivers on speech and swallowing techniques
  4. Participate in interdisciplinary and family meetings
