Job summary

BLS is required within 30 days of hire, and the role involves collaboration within an interdisciplinary Rehabilitation Services team. The position may involve supervising graduate students and interns, with duties including

Qualifications

• Current or temporary Speech-Language Pathologist licensure in the state where services will be provided.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency in Speech Language Pathology or must be obtained within 48 months of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides coordinated and comprehensive patient care including assessment, expected outcomes, rehabilitation interventions and evaluation with an interdisciplinary team approach.
• Evaluates speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive-linguistic needs and develops and implements treatment programs.
• Documents all treatments according to department policies and procedures.
• May supervise graduate assistants/interns and coordinate student schedules and evaluations.
