Job summary

Lifepoint Rehabilitation is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join Baptist Memorial Rehabilitation Hospital in Germantown, TN. You will assess patients, design care plans, educate families, and support discharge planning in a 53-bed inpatient rehab setting.

The role requires a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, current TN licensure, BLS certification, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a demanding environment.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Licensed Speech Therapist with current Tennessee licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs and documents initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition.
• Designs and implements a plan of care involving the patient and family.
• Educates patients and families regarding treatment plans and progress.
• Plans and assists with patient discharge from therapy services.
• Supervises activities of clinical fellows, students, and other staff.
