Job summary

Heartland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Boynton Beach, FL is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join the rehabilitation team on a PRN basis. Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• Current Florida SLP license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification preferred or eligible.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized speech, language, and swallowing therapy programs.
• Provide therapy sessions and adjust treatment plans based on resident progress.
• Assess and recommend adaptive communication devices when appropriate.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nursing staff to coordinate comprehensive care plans.
• Supervise therapy assistants and provide guidance or training as needed.
• Participate in resident care conferences and maintain accurate documentation of progress and outcomes.
