Job summary

SSM Health's WI-St. Agnes Hospital is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a PRN/per diem role. You will evaluate and treat individuals with speech, language, oral and pharyngeal function, and cognitive communication needs in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities include delivering therapy, educating families, documenting progress, and coordinating discharge planning while maintaining patient safety and quality care.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• No experience required.
• License to practice in multiple states (IL, MO, OK, WI) with respective boards.
• BLS HCP certification within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Performs therapy interventions using standard therapy techniques.
• Educates and counsels patients and families regarding treatment plans.
• Maintains clinical records and adheres to performance improvement recommendations.
• Plans and assists with patient discharge from speech therapy services.
• Works in a constant state of alertness and safety.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
