Texas Health Resources is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join our team on a PRN basis at Texas Health Alliance in Fort Worth, TX. The role focuses on inpatient rehabilitation with weekend, holiday, and As Needed weekday coverage.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Speech Language Pathology, TEXAS licensure, BCLS, and 1–2 years of acute inpatient experience is preferred. Strong assessment, treatment planning and documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or ASHA-recognized post-baccalaureate degree.
• Texas SLP license upon hire or SLP-I intern license upon hire.
• BCLS certification prior to independent patient care.
• 1–2 years inpatient experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs age appropriate patient assessment and establishes plan of care.
• Obtains physician orders for therapy and verifies appropriateness.
• Reviews medical records and gathers pertinent medical history.
• Educates patient and family on treatment plan and home program.
• Documents all aspects of therapy sessions in medical records.
• Meets productivity targets and participates in department activities.
