HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital in Brooksville, FL invites a qualified Speech Language Pathologist to join our PRN pool. You will evaluate communication, cognitive, and swallowing abilities; design evidence-based treatment plans; and monitor patient progress in a collaborative rehabilitation team.

Responsibilities include documenting evaluations and progress, educating patients and families, and coordinating with physicians, nursing, and care managers to ensure smooth transitions.

Qualificações

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• State of Florida Speech-Language Pathologist licensed required.
• Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) awarded by the ASHA.
• Current BLS through American Heart Association.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate patient condition, obtain case history, and administer diagnostic tests to determine speech and language issues.
• Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans to support communication, swallowing, and cognitive progress.
• Document evaluations, daily notes, progress updates, and discharge summaries with accuracy and timeliness.
• Educate patients and families on therapy goals, safety, home strategies, and expected progress.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing teams, rehabilitation staff, and care managers to support coordinated care.
