Job summary

Klarus Home Health is seeking a compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (PRN) to provide therapy and participate in care coordination for patients in Cleburne, TX and surrounding Johnson County areas.

The role entails evaluating and treating speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders, developing individualized care plans, and documenting clinical notes. Requires master’s/doctoral degree in SLP, TX license, CPR, and driving ability.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or university.
• Current State License in Speech-Language Pathology or meets requirements listed in 42 CFR §484.115(n).
• One year of experience in an acute care, rehabilitation setting, or home health preferred.
• Proof of CPR and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic techniques for rehabilitation of speech, language, hearing, swallowing, and cognitive disorders.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate the care plan in partnership with the patient and caregivers.
• Prepare and complete clinical notes and orders in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with physicians and healthcare team to adjust the plan of care as needed.
