Qualifications

• Master's Degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
• Minimum one (1) year of Speech Therapy experience (home health experience preferred).
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid Florida driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance.
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing evaluations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on physician orders.
• Provide skilled speech therapy services in the home setting.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment techniques and home exercise programs.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate patient care.
• Document evaluations, treatment sessions, progress, and outcomes accurately and within required timeframes.
• Participate in case conferences and quality improvement initiatives as appropriate.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all agency policies and regulatory requirements.
• Serve as case manager for therapy-only patients when applicable.
