Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital Battle Creek, located on the 6th floor of Bronson Battle Creek Hospital in Battle Creek, Michigan, is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a PRN position. This role pays $52.00 per hour and involves evaluation and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders within inpatient post-ICU rehab services.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist required.
• Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required.

Responsibilities

• Take initiative and assume responsibility for patient care daily.
• Collaborate with rehab staff to provide quality interdisciplinary programming.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluation of communication and/or swallowing function and develop goal-oriented treatment.
• Monitor quality of services in Rehab Therapy Department.
• Participate in peer review and staff appraisals.
• Assist in developing SLP programs, revising policies, and maintaining supplies.

Education
