Job summary

Select Medical in Pontiac, MI is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a full-time role in a leading post-ICU care setting. You will assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders, working with a multidisciplinary rehab team to help patients regain communication and swallowing skills.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• BLS certification, or completion within 90 days of employment.
• CCC-SLP preferred (ASHA).

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive evaluation of communication and swallowing functions.
• Deliver goal-oriented treatment to maximize communication and/or swallowing potential.
• Collaborate with Rehab Therapy team to monitor service quality.
• Contribute to developing SLP programs and updating department policies.
• Maintain adequate supplies and participate in peer reviews.
