Responsibilities include evaluations, treatment planning, family education, and discharge planning in collaboration with physicians and the healthcare team; DC licensure and BLS are required, with 1–2 years of acute care or rehab

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and licensure in DC before start
• BLS certification required
• 1–2 years clinical practice in acute care or rehabilitation preferred

Responsibilities

• Provides direct speech, language, and swallowing evaluations and re-evaluations with goals and discharge recommendations
• Coordinates scheduling and documentation per standards
• Maintains equipment and supplies
• Collaborates with physicians, patients, family and health care team for effective discharge planning
• Adheres to health and Joint Commission regulations
