Job summary

Haven Access Works LLC in Delaware County, PA is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for PRN coverage to support individuals with IDD.

The role emphasizes comprehensive assessments, AAC evaluations across devices, and developing ITPs with functional goals; training families and DSPs; and ensuring documentation per Medicaid/IEP guidelines.

A Master's, CCC, and PA licensure are required, with at least 1 year of IDD experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• CCC from ASHA (Certificate of Clinical Competence).
• Current, unencumbered PA Speech-Language Pathologist license.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication evaluations across the lifespan.
• Perform AAC assessments for low-, mid-, and high-tech devices.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable, functional goals.
• Provide direct, evidence-based therapy to facilitate AAC communication.
• Train clients, families, caregivers, and DSPs on device use and maintenance.
• Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, progress notes, and communication plans per Medicaid/IEP guidelines.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to coordinate holistic care.
