Job summary

Haven Access Works LLC is seeking a PRN Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat individuals with IDD in a community-based Delaware County setting. The role centers on AAC-based communication, including device-assisted assessments and goal-directed therapy.

The SLP will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, train families and DSPs, and ensure compliant documentation in line with Medicaid and IEP requirements. Eligible candidates hold CCC and PA licensure.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• CCC Certification (ASHA) for Clinical Competence.
• Current, unrestricted PA state licensure as an SLP.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication evaluations for individuals with IDD.
• Perform AAC assessments across low-, mid-, and high-tech devices.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with functional communication goals.
• Provide direct, evidence-based therapy focusing on AAC outcomes.
• Train clients, families, caregivers, and DSPs on device use and strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation per state and federal guidelines (Medicaid, IEPs).
• Collaborate in interdisciplinary team meetings to coordinate holistic care.
