Job summary

Adoration Health is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist for Home Health in Ashland, AL. This PRN opportunity focuses on one-to-one patient care in the home, with team support and potential for ongoing opportunities within a growing organization.

The ideal candidate will hold a Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology, an active license in Alabama, and a current BLS/CPR certification. Prior home health experience is beneficial but not required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Current, unrestricted license as a Speech Language Pathologist in the practicing state.
• Current BLS or CPR certification in accordance with state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with patients to evaluate speech or language difficulties and determine need for continued therapy.
• Teach patients how to make sounds and improve voices.
• Teach alternative communication methods, such as sign language, to patients with limited speech.
• Educate and guide healthcare team members, patients, and caregivers in therapy exercises to support progress.
• Document progress and clinical notes, and submit visit documentation per Agency policy.
