Qualifications

• Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• At least one year of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Current license as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of practice.
• BLS or CPR certification as per state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' speech or language difficulties and determine therapy needs.
• Teach patients sound production and voice improvement techniques.
• Use sign language as an alternative communication method for patients with limited speech.
• Guide healthcare team members and caregivers on therapeutic exercises.
• Document patient progress and therapy responses per Agency policy.
