Job summary

Saint Luke’s invites a PRN Social Worker to join our in-patient care team. You will assess psychosocial needs, plan discharges and provide crisis intervention for patients with acute, chronic or terminal illnesses, supporting families and navigating resources.

As a member of a multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to education, program development, and student supervision when appropriate, leveraging strong communication and cultural awareness.

Qualifications

• MSW or LCSW from CSWE-accredited program.
• Missouri Social Work license.
• Master's Degree in Social Work.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychosocial assessment and discharge planning.
• Offer crisis intervention and information/referrals.
• Provide patient/family education and protective services as needed.
• Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team for patient care.
• Support program development, evaluation and staff supervision where applicable.
