Highland Chateau Health + Rehabilitation Center in St. Paul, MN, is seeking a dedicated PRN Speech-Language Pathologist to join our interdisciplinary team.

You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat residents with communication and swallowing disorders in a skilled nursing setting. You will collaborate with nursing, therapy, and medical staff to implement individualized treatment plans, document progress, and educate residents and families on therapy techniques.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current MN licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• CCC-SLP from ASHA preferred.
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility or rehabilitation setting is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate and assess residents with speech, language, communication, voice, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapy to improve residents’ functional communication and swallowing abilities.
• Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
• Educate residents, families, and staff on therapy techniques and strategies to support ongoing progress.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic resident care.
