Job summary

Nasarius is seeking a PRN driver to transport clients to and from the Adult Day Services Program. You will assist passengers with disabilities, load/unload wheelchairs, and secure restraints. Schedule varies with the program’s needs.

Requires a high school diploma or GED, a chauffeur's license, and CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain. Excellent customer service and the ability to work with diverse populations are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Experience with individuals affected by Alzheimer’s or related dementias.
• Must be responsible and work well with others.
• Ability to complete multiple duties and tasks efficiently without prompting.
• Willing to complete required training related to position.
• Oversee vehicle maintenance.
• Occasional building maintenance.
• Maintain cooperative work relationships.
• Chauffeur license required.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Transport clients to and from the Adult Day Services Program.
• Assist passengers with disabilities, with wheelchair loading/unloading, and securing restraints.
• Oversee vehicle maintenance.
• Occasional building maintenance.
• Maintain cooperative work relationships.
• Able to work with a minimum of supervision.
• Exercise sound judgment in emergencies.
• Assist confused clients to and from the vehicle.
• Other duties as assigned.
