Qualifications

• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required or must be obtained within 45 days.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and room patients, obtain vital signs, and document health information.
• Perform lab procedures using aseptic technique and infection control.
• Assist physicians with procedures and surgeries as needed.
• Administer medications under orders, including immunizations and IVs.
• Educate patients on tasks, tests, refills, and referrals.
• Communicate with care team and document patient status.
• Maintain exam rooms and equipment; stock supplies.
• Support age-appropriate care according to department policies.
