Job summary

Longview Regional Medical Center is seeking an RN PRN to join our caring team in Longview, Texas. You will provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care, support surgical services, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

The role requires 0–2 years nursing experience in acute care, RN licensure, and BCLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP are preferred. This position emphasizes safety, documentation, and compassionate patient education, with competitive compensation

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required
• RN licensure and Basic Life Support (BCLS) required; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care in accordance with nursing process and hospital policies.
• Assess patients, document findings, and report changes to the care team.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for adverse effects.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other health professionals to develop care plans.
• Respond to medical emergencies and participate in life-saving interventions (e.g., CPR).
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and discharge plans.
