Job summary

Longview Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) PRN to deliver patient-centered care across our medical-surgical teams. You will apply the nursing process, collaborate with physicians and staff, and support patients and families.

The role emphasizes safety, infection control, and adherence to clinical protocols, with opportunities for professional development and recognition programs. Requires 0–2 years clinical nursing experience and an active RN license.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student rotations in an acute care setting.
• RN license required; BCLS certification required.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with organizational policies and the nursing process.
• Document patient assessments and report changes in condition to the care team.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for side effects.
• Assist physicians during procedures within competency and scope.
• Provide patient and family education on conditions and treatment plans.
• Maintain infection control protocols and a safe environment.
