Cleveland Clinic is seeking a PRN RN to join the NICU at Hillcrest Hospital in Mayfield Heights, OH. The role focuses on providing essential nursing care to ill neonates and low birth weight infants in a fast-paced, family-centered environment.

As a NICU nurse, you will coordinate care across disciplines, monitor patient progress, and help ensure timely discharge planning while adhering to BLS and NRP requirements. Per diem shifts offer flexibility for dedicated caregivers.

Competenze

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN).
• 2 years recent related NICU nursing experience for external applicants.
• Internal applicants with less than 2 years may be considered with approval.
• Current RN licensure in state and BLS certification.
• NRP certification within one year of employment.

What You'll Do

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.

Requirements

Education: Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN program) required.

• 2 years recent related nursing experience required for external applicants.
• Internal applicants with less than 2 years’ experience may be considered with approval.

Licenses & Certifications:

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required within one year of employment.
