Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is seeking an experienced PRN Registered Nurse for the Pee Dee Division Mobile Float Pool. This role offers an hourly pay rate and eligibility for the State Retirement Program, with 8 scheduled hours per week and weekend/shift flexibility.

Minimum requirements include an Associate's Degree and at least 1 year of RN experience, SC Board licensure (or a compact state) and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree and at least 1 year of RN experience required.
• Current licensure as a registered nurse by the SC Board of Nursing or a compact state.
• BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross Healthcare Providers required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Lead and coordinate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure age-appropriate care.
• Deliver patient/family centered care addressing physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and environmental needs.
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment with professional conduct and patient privacy.
• Participate in a professional practice model, governance, and ongoing clinical development.
• Coordinate care using care management principles to improve patient outcomes.
