Qualifications

• Requires an ASN; BSN preferred.
• Active RN license in Indiana or an active NLC RN license.
• Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the AHA.
• Additional advanced life support certifications may be required per unit.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and monitor vital signs.
• Change dressings and educate patients about procedures.
• Coordinate patient care plans with other healthcare professionals.
• Evaluate medical information to support patient treatment decisions.
