Job summary

Castle Peak, a Cassia senior living community in Eagle, CO, is seeking PRN Registered Nurses (RNs) or Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to help our residents experience independence and dignity within a loving community atmosphere.

RN/LPN responsibilities include administering medications, coordinating resident care, and documenting accurately; candidates must hold a CO nursing license and have strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Current CO Nursing License.
• Prior experience in geriatric care strongly preferred.
• Must have strong communication and organizational skills.
• Self-starter with a desire to be a part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Displays a courteous attitude and respect for all residents, families, and staff.
• Coordinates, oversees, and provides resident-related care.
• Administers medications and/or treatments per physician orders and monitors effectiveness.
• Manages medications, supplies, and equipment per policies and procedures.
• Documents care using computerized medication administration and charting software.
• Notifies Clinical Manager and physicians of significant changes in a resident's condition.
