Job summary

Eastern Montana Veteran's Home is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the long-term care unit at our skilled nursing facility in Glendive, MT.

The ideal candidate will hold a BSN, an active Montana RN license, and BLS certification; you will assess residents, administer medications, supervise staff, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited school of nursing is required.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by Montana is required.
• BLS certification from the AHA is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive Registered Nurse (RN) care for residents
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and evaluate changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Provide skilled nursing care including wound care, IV therapy, tube feedings, suctioning, catheter care
• Supervise, delegate, and guide LPNs, CNAs, and other nursing staff
• Ensure care plans are developed, implemented, and updated
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care
