Job summary

Glendive Medical Center in Glendive, MT is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Long-Term Care team. You will provide skilled nursing care, oversee resident care, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support residents' health and well-being.

The position offers full-time, three 12-hour shifts per week, with weekend and holiday rotation. Starting wage is $31.63+/hour with applicable differentials, based on experience and union agreements.

Qualifications

• Must hold an RN license in Montana or Compact licensure.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Leadership skills with the ability to supervise and mentor staff.
• Proficiency with electronic health records and basic computer programs.

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and evaluate resident health status.
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans.
• Document assessments, care, and resident progress accurately.
• Collaborate with providers, residents, families, and care team members.
• Identify and report changes in resident conditions.
• Participate in care conferences and interdisciplinary team meetings.
• Supervise and support CNAs and other non-licensed staff.
• Promote compliance with nursing standards, regulations, and facility policies.
• Contribute to a safe, respectful, and resident-focused environment.
