Job summary

Senior Helpers Southern Maryland is seeking a Registered Nurse for flexible PRN in-home assessments and clinical oversight. You will perform initial and reassessments in clients' homes, develop individualized care plans, and evaluate caregiver competencies to ensure quality care in our Southern Maryland service area.

You will provide nursing guidance, identify needs requiring clinical review, and document findings and recommendations.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Maryland RN license
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills
• Willingness to travel throughout our service area
• Ability to satisfy credential verification and background screening

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial nursing assessments and reassessments in clients' homes.
• Develop, review, and update individualized care plans within the agency's authorized scope.
• Evaluate functional abilities, safety risks, and changes in condition.
• Conduct hands-on caregiver skills evaluations and competency assessments.
• Provide professional nursing guidance regarding client safety and caregiver competency concerns.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical assessments, evaluations, and documentation.
