Job summary

Senior Helpers Southern Maryland is seeking a dependable Registered Nurse (RN) to join our home care team on a PRN basis serving Southern Prince George’s and Northern Charles Counties, MD. The role emphasizes client assessments, care planning, caregiver oversight, and ongoing clinical support to ensure high‑quality, safe care in clients’ homes.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland RN license or compact state license.
• Current CPR/BLS certification is required.
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience preferred; new grads encouraged.
• Home care or senior care experience is a plus.
• Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial client assessments and ongoing reassessments in clients' homes.
• Develop, review, and update individualized plans of care.
• Provide clinical oversight and guidance to caregivers.
• Train caregivers on appropriate care techniques and client needs.
