As a PRN RN in Float Pool, you will care for diverse patient populations, float across units, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure excellent outcomes and patient education.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of Professional Nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BLS Certification through AHA or Red Cross.
• External applicants: two years of related nursing experience.
• Internal applicants: less than two years with Chief Nursing Officer approval.
• Will consider licensed military RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Monitor, record and communicate patients' conditions.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs.
• Maintain professional growth and development through ongoing formal and informal education and clinical nursing study.
