Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Medina Hospital in Medina, NY is hiring a PRN Patient Care Nurse Assistant for the Float Pool. You will assist with direct patient care, vital signs, and activities of daily living under supervision of a Registered Nurse, in a 148-bed community hospital.

The role involves flexible shifts and a 48 hours per 6-week period requirement. You will gain experience across units, learn from seasoned caregivers, and contribute to high-quality patient care in a world-class health system

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or Red Cross; if not held, must obtain during new hire period.
• Nursing students must have BLS at hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide or assist with patient care under RN supervision; tasks include vital signs, ADLs, transfers and mobility assistance.
• Report abnormal findings to an RN and observe changes in patient condition.
• Maintain patient rooms, cleanliness and safety; support a fast-paced hospital environment.
