Job summary

Mercy seeks a registered nurse to provide direct patient care using the nursing process, while upholding patient rights and confidentiality. You will evaluate care effectiveness, and coordinate services with other departments to ensure comprehensive patient care.

The role requires completion of an approved nursing program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN) and an active RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure; BLS certification or completion within 30 days is expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for the care of assigned patients.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality.
