Job summary

The Cleveland Clinic South Pointe Hospital is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department in Warrensville Heights, OH. You will provide direct nursing care and coordinate patient care with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include implementing care plans, monitoring patient conditions, documenting findings, carrying out orders, and assisting with discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (Diploma, ADN, or BSN)
• Current state RN license
• BLS certification required
• ACLS and PALS preferred within one year of hire
• TNCC or ENPC required within 24 months

Requirements

Education

• Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (Diploma, ADN, or BSN Program)

Experience

• 2 years of recent related nursing experience for external candidates
• Internal candidates with less than 2 years of experience may be considered with CNO level review and approval

Licenses & Certifications

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred within one year of hire
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred within one year of hire
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) required upon hire or within 24 months
