Job summary

Providence Park Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing in Tyler, TX is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with long-term care experience to join our team. You will lead the delivery of patient care in accordance with clinical systems, regulatory requirements, and physician orders, ensuring high-quality services in a compassionate environment.

You will participate in staffing decisions, oversee nursing staff, and ensure infection control and safety standards are maintained.

Qualifications

• Current, valid licensure as an RN.
• Experience in long-term healthcare preferred.
• Management/Supervisory experience required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills needed.
• Strong written and verbal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains nursing service objectives, goals and standards of practice per licensure and Nurse Practice Act.
• Evaluates staffing to meet resident needs with Director of Nursing.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Receives, transcribes and implements physician orders.
• Implements and evaluates care plans.
• Oversees subordinate staff and assigns duties.
• Monitors infection control compliance and safety.
• Investigates accidents/incidents and documents findings.
