Briarcliff Skilled Nursing Facility in Carthage, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for PRN Day, Evening and Night shifts. You will participate in directing patient care, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing compassionate healthcare in a long-term and rehabilitative setting.

The RN will administer medications, review orders, and contribute to care plans while coordinating with the nursing team to deliver high-quality resident experiences. Excellent communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Current, valid licensure as an RN required.
• Experience in long-term healthcare preferred.
• Management/Supervisory experience required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills needed.
• Strong written and verbal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains nursing service objectives, goals, and standards of nursing practices per licensure and Nurse Practice Act.
• Evaluates staffing patterns to meet residents' needs with the Director of Nursing.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Receives, transcribes, and implements physician orders.
• Implements and evaluates care plans.
• Identifies and secures equipment and supplies.
• Directs/oversees subordinates and participates in duty assignments.
• Organizes tasks and time allotments for staff.
• Oversees and monitors subordinate staff activities.
• Evaluates staff performance and initiates appropriate actions.
• Monitors infection control compliance and investigates incidents.
