Job summary

Lake Granbury Medical Center in Granbury, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide patient-centered care across the nursing process in a mission-driven, team-oriented hospital.

As an integral member of the care team, you will coordinate assessments, administer medications, support procedures, educate patients and families, and participate in quality and safety initiatives. This role is not eligible for immigration sponsorship now or in the future.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of clinical nursing experience or student rotations in an acute care setting
• Ability to perform thorough patient assessments and communicate findings effectively
• Proficient in administering medications and monitoring for side effects

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care per nursing process and organizational policies
• Document findings and report changes to care team
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects
• Assist physicians during procedures within competency
• Develop and evaluate individualized care plans with the team
• Respond to medical emergencies and perform CPR when needed
• Educate patients and families on conditions and post-discharge care
• Maintain infection control practices and safety standards
• Participate in audits, chart reviews, and quality improvement initiatives
• Support OR services: pre-, intra-, and post-operative care and sterile technique
